Curran Foods is one of the largest independent wholesalers in the Republic of Ireland, supplying Ambient, Chilled, Frozen, Packaging, and Hygiene Products. Established as Pat Curran Frozen Foods Ltd in 1962 by Pat and Nora Curran in Tramore, Co. Waterford, the company has grown over the years to become a leading player in the foodservice industry.

In 1988, Curran Foods relocated to a new purpose built multi-temperature warehouse in Waterford City under the leadership of CEO Gerard Curran. Gerard has led the company for over four decades and now works alongside his daughter Leonora, and General Manager Bill Cummins, who together continue to drive the company’s growth and success.

Our family-owned business has grown from humble beginnings into one of the largest independent wholesalers in the Republic of Ireland. As a trusted company operating for over 60 years, Curran Foods is now a third-generation business continuing a proud tradition of offering innovative products, excellent customer service, and competitive pricing. We provide complete foodservice solutions to the FMCG and hospitality sectors across the Republic of Ireland.

Our latest expansion at the Waterford facility has added a 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse with space for 1,500 frozen pallets, 600 ambient pallets, and 250 chilled pallets. The expansion includes seven enhanced loading bays, designed to support our growing range of products. The facility has been fitted with a solar panel array that can generate up to 200kW of clean energy, powered by 360 high-efficiency panels. We use motion-activated LED lighting throughout the facility to further reduce our carbon footprint, and have installed an on-site EV charging station.
